At Wiltshire’s we take our commitment to operating a sustainable business extremely seriously, ensuring we protect the environment we all live and work in. Which is why we have created ‘WB Green’ which is a 12 point five year plan to tackle our biggest challenges facing our business.

We will be working with our customers and suppliers to combat our 12 point WB Green plan and complete our challenges within the next five years.

We’ve built our plan on the three main building blocks:

Reduce our impact on climate change
Reduce our waste to landfill
Trade Ethically

The following 12 point 'WB Green' plan which we have listed below covers our entire operation from sourcing our materials to recycling, ensuring we become a more environmentally sustainable company.

Recycle all of our waste sand and aggregate
Source our sand and aggregates locally reducing our Co2 omissions
Recycle our unwanted timber and transport pallets
Reduce our sourced water consumption and increase our recycling water systems
Introduce renewable power sources into our operation
Continually reinvest in our transport fleet to reduce our CO2 omissions
Allways use recycled paper on our any correspondents and invoicing
Recycle where ever possible from paper to plastics to reduce our waste going to landfill
To work with our suppliers to ensure ethical trading is allways met
Reduce our packaging and ensure its fully recyclable where ever possible
Supporting our staff ensuring they have a safe and healthy working environment
Support our neighbours through local charities and events

Our aim is to exceed our WB Green plan and constantly add new initiatives and technology to ensure we operate a sustainable business.
